I really liked this restaurant. Love how it’s been operating in the same spot for like over 20 years, if not more. Their vegetarian samosas were simply the best; also really loved the vegetable lentil soup. The cheese naan was also pretty good. Servers were very nice and friendly and the overall atmosphere is lovely. A little old maybe, a Reno would have been nice, but overall its a great stop over for an authentic Indian cuisine if you don’t mind the atmosphere being a bit oldish.

Food and service were outstanding! Dont pass this place up. Well worth it!

Best Restaurant !!!!Great view. Incredible customer service.Great food and people! I recommend Sitar Restaurant!!!

They serve large portions and for convenient prices. very kind employees. 5 stars from me.

I’m no expert on Indian food, so take this with a grain of salt, but I found the butter chicken dish I had to be delicious. Excellent! Servers were friendly and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I wish I had more room for seconds!

One of my go to spots in Gastown. Family run place, it has been there for decades, Deep is always helpful. I always go for the goat masala, just had some leftovers from the other night, it was as good as it was the night before. Keep it up!

Great decor. Pleasant staff and good food. It is a good place to stop for a meal if you are exploring gastown on foot. If you are seated by the window you can watch the tourists wandering around the square and raking photos of gassy jack

Kicked off the trip to Vancouver with this great Indian dinner – Paneer Tikka Masala and Shrimp Biryani. Owner shared that no entrees have wheat flour and assured me the food would be safe. It was that, and tasted great!
